This spiral torso was one of a series created for Artist Jamie McCartney. The London stone carving team helped to realise this surrealist take on one of the most traditional of subjects. The project required a keen eye to do justice to the subtle twists and turns of the anatomy, as well as a deep understanding of the material in order to hollow out the piece whilst retaining structural integrity.
